Superb lithograph representing an inn cook, signed Jean Jules Chéret (1836-1932), French painter, poster designer and lithographer. Note the mastery of depth with a detachment of the main character on a black background and the young mitron sketched in the background. We also admire the joyful movement of the waitress and the good-natured atmosphere that her smile inspires. Great artistic mastery for this illustration of daily life in the 19th century! In very good condition, frame in its original state (in photo) / the back has been restored (also in photo). Forgive the quality of the images and the reflections in the glass, the work really deserves attention and is of very good quality.
