OPTICAL VIEW EIGHTEENTH ENGRAVING LONDON CAPITAL OF THE KINGDOM OF ENGLAND A4051 This optical view represents London it is an 18th century engraving, no engraver signature, Daumont editors in Paris and Esnault and Rapilly in Coutances, it bears the number 57 Daumont is a Parisian haberdasher, publisher and printmaker, active from around 1745 until his death in 1768. Originally from Normandy, Esnault and Rapilly reported in Paris in 1768 as associated stallers, settled in rue Saint-Jacques in La Croix de Lorraine, before opening the house of La Ville de Coutances where they held a successful trade in prints, Rapilly, who died in 1797, his wife continued the trade with her father until around 1804.The engraving depicting the description of the various places and monuments important period is detailed and in color, unfortunately it is very damaged and stained, many bites, stains and gaps at the lower corners, however this remains an 18th century engraving interesting ante to detail.Sold uncleaned unrestored.For the state thank you for detailing the photos.Do not hesitate to zoom.The photos are an integral part of the description.Dimensions: FrameHeight: 51 cmWidth: 66.5. cm Thickness: 1.4 cm Drawing Height: 44.5 cm Width: 59.5 cm I remain at your disposal for any questions.
