OPALESCENT CARD GAME 1930 BY ANDRE HUNEBELLE M1124The work has a marking on the underside "A. Hunebelle Paris". It is a rather rare piece, never seen, probably to accommodate cards. André Hunebelle (1896-1985) is a master glassmaker and a French director. Between 1927 and 1931, he published his table glassware which he distributed by opening a store on the avenue des Champs-Elysées in Paris. With a scientific background, André Hannebelle became a glass editor out of passion in the mid-1920s. He made a name for himself above all thanks to the rigorous lines, but always elegant and singular, exhibited in his luxurious store, which no longer exists today. We also owe him many models of vases, cups and lamps with molded decorations, strictly geometric, original and meticulously crafted and executed at the crystal factory of Choisy-le-Roi. His name appears systematically molded on these objects, either alone or accompanied by that of R. Cogneville, a sculptor whose collaboration he secured. For the state, we report rubbing, scratches and micro-scratches, stains in various places, small égreneurs on the corners of the upper perimeter, two of which with small gaps, small gap on the perimeter at the back of the housing for cards, gins around bottom edge, stains in card slot. We are very conscientious, we indicate every detail, but everything remains largely presentable. Our many photos allow you to appreciate the quality of the object. For the state thank you for detailing the photos. Feel free to zoom. The photos are an integral part of the description. Dimensions: Height: 4 cm Width: 14.5 cm Length: 16.5 cm P: 996748 I remain at your disposal for any questions.
