Old wooden mechanic's case with twelve lockers. Inscription on the side: "Cousinets de ligne d'arbre"; mechanical parts for automobile engine. Beautiful original metalwork (closures and handle) repainted in anti-rust black. A few woodworm bites without aesthetic damage. The wood was stripped to find the inscription almost disappeared under a thick layer of black wax, then sanded and treated against pests. It received a protective teak-colored stain on the outside. The interior was left raw. Beyond its undeniable aesthetic asset, this case can be used for many types of storage, such as collections, haberdashery, tools or even as a display (teas, spices, etc.) for catering establishments. A multi-purpose object with incredible charm!
