"Francis Thivel and Louis Béréziat
Furniture hardware stores and manufacturers of decorative elements for furniture in spare parts. From 1860, A. Thivel was at the head of a woodturning workshop. Thivel and Béréziat, a century-old house founded in 1887, was simultaneously specialized in hardware, tool manufacturing and woodworking (until 1950). Thivel and Béréziat, in a sense already very modern, manufactured what would today be called “kit” furniture.
