We love this pretty solid wood roller bench-chest. Inspired by the Louis-Philippe style, it probably dates from the first half of the 20th century. Numerous traces of time that give it a lot of charm: old traces of stabilized woodworms; three burn marks on one of the rollers (in photo). Three decorative metal handles imitation brass replace the original wooden ones (two were missing and the third very damaged). The piece of furniture has been stripped, sanded and protected against pests. It then received a coat of hardener for attacked wood, then another of hard base before receiving two coats of antique wax in a dark oak color. Both a seat and storage, it will find an ideal place in an entrance hall or in a bedroom. Chic country charm guaranteed!
