Former bench of the chapel of St Livier de Salival (Moyenvic) in Moselle.
I bought this bench as well as its twin thinking I could position them at my home but the decoration does not do them enough honor!
Entirely made of oak wood I think!
It is really very pretty and very simple, no religious mark.
Fairly large backrest that extends below, closed on the sides.
It has been cleaned, sanded and oiled with natural colorless oil so as not to alter its original charm.
Superb in a large entrance for example...
Dimensions: height 108 cm, length at the back 163cm, width on the side 41 cm to this is added 3.5 cm offset from the seat, length of the seat 152.5 cm, height of the backrest 51.5 cm, below 41.5 cm . Slightly inclined backrest for better seating comfort.
Lack of finishing bar on one side I don't know when it dates but was renovated in the 60s according to my information!
Ready to pose!
