Very nice vintage mustard pot from the 80s!
Brown enamelled ceramic pot with its original cork cap!
The pot in which mustard was kept from the beginning was first made of earthenware and then of stoneware with a cork lid.
Formerly the cap was sealed with wax on the pot with the name of the vinegar maker or maker of the mustard stamped on the wax!
This pot is more recent, from the 80s but still remains for many associated with the famous condiment specialty of the city of Dijon!
This jar is perfect as a decoration in the kitchen to contain spices or salt!
It has small flaws which give it even more charm, such as this darker stain on the bottom, lack of enamel!
Handcrafted, I think!
