Ceramic soup tureen with lid by Hubert Bequet, made in Belgium around 1934.
The entire tureen is hand-painted with symmetrical patterns in bright colors and gold leaf, and features gilded handles and a gilded base.
The lid also has a gilded handle and is painted.
Signed H. Bequet - Quaregnon - Made in Belgium
In very good condition considering its age, only the gilded handles show some signs of wear.
