It belongs to a series of prints "to be used in the history of the morals and costume of the French".
In a cartridge at the bottom of the composition, the title and six split verses: "This Jacket, where taste has placed its gallant art/Is Love a present?/No, charming Thisbé, I have not of mistress: / But I have before my eyes a seductive object / Which will make me know tenderness."
At the bottom the signatures "I. H. E. inv S. Freudeberg del" and "Lingée Sculp". In the center, the printer's address 'A Paris chez Buldet rue des Gesvres'.
