OIL ON PANEL POND OF THE CASTLE OF SEDIERES IN CORREZE 1887 SIGNED MP BARBIZON A4611This oil on panel represents the pond of the castle of Sédières in Correze in 1887, The castle of Sédières is a castle of the department of Corrèze, located in the commune of Clergoux 130 hectares of forests, ponds and white water. Classified as a historical monument on March 8, 1958, the castle was bought in 1965 by the General Council of Corrèze. We have not been able to identify the signature, perhaps "MP", It is a Barbizonian scene, with a walker on a path, a stream. Everything is done with a nice invoice. The work has not been prepared or restored, it remains acceptable. We report for the most picky, cracks, scratches and small jumps in material.
