Description
Victor Coste, Provençal artist born in Marseille in 1844. Student of Magaud and Rave at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Marseille, then of Barry, he participated in the Paris Salon from 1883 to 1896. He also exhibited at the Colonial Exhibition of 1906, he specialized in the creation of marinas. Many of his landscapes are now preserved at the Palais Longchamp and the Musée Granet in Aix en Provence Type: Oil Genre: Post Impressionist Characteristics: On panel Theme: Landscape
