It represents a scene in Basse-Goulaine, directed I think by Francois Edouard Bournichon. There is an inscription on the back of the Bournichon Basse Goulaine frame. The painting is unsigned, so I cannot confirm it. It is served by a pretty gilded, coppery frame, typical of the time. The technique is excellent.
