Emile Gautier will exhibit for the first time at the age of 18, at the Group show of Saint-Nazaire, with the best artists in the region and Parisian salons. In 1942, he exhibited at the Salon of French Artists in Paris. During the war, he joined the Simon courses, at the Beaux-arts in Nantes. Émile Gautier was a teacher for thirty-four years and curator of the Saint-Nazaire museum from 1972 to 1983. He trained thousands of students, rubbed shoulders with hundreds of artists and exhibited regularly in the region. The frame is original, everything is natural, untouched, we did not clean it voluntarily. We report small traces in places, some chips in the corners of the frame and the Marie-Louise.
