OIL ON PANEL BY ALFRED VEILLET (1882-1958) LANDSCAPE PONT XXEME L1714 This oil on panel was made by hand. For the signature, we read Veillet, for perhaps Alfred Veillet without certainty, because the signature is difficult to identify. The work is to be placed around 1930-1940. She is nicely treated. Alfred Veillet Born on March 2, 1882 in Ezy-sur-Eure, Alfred is of modest and rural origins, and will live all his life in Rolleboise where he dies in 1958. Essentially a landscape painter, he goes out in all weathers and sleeps on the vivid landscapes of waterways that he particularly likes. For the state, we report rubbing and stains in the form of black dots, cracks on the whole and lack of paint visible in the photos, however this oil remains in a decent state of conservation. Note a wear of paint and small gaps on the frame. For the state thank you for detailing the photos. Feel free to zoom. The photos are an integral part of the description. Dimensions: - Frame Height: 39 cm Thickness: 6 cm Width: 47 cm - Painting Height: 25.5 cm Width: 35.5 cm.
