Malclès 32". She is quite inspired. This is a knife painting technique. Jean-Denis Malclès (1912-2002). We owe him in particular the creation of the Jacques Brothers costume and several cinema and theater posters, including that of Beauty and the Beast by Jean Cocteau. From 1948 to 1981, he created the sets and costumes for most of Jean Anouilh's plays, establishing a real osmosis with the author who recognized in him the decorator capable "of traveling to the country of his own dreams and restoring them to him". . He also works for the Compagnie Renaud-Barrault, which makes Jean-Louis Barrault say: “Jean-Denis Malclès is more than an illustrator; also much more than a painter: he integrates himself into the piece, conceives its movement and the spirit, in a word, forgets itself. He is first and foremost a director.” For the condition, note the cracks, wear and tear (in the corners and around). The colors remained vivid. For the state thank you for detailing the photos. Feel free to zoom. The photos are an integral part of the description. Dimensions: Height: 16.2 cm Width: 22.1 cm I remain at your disposal for any questions.
