OIL ON CANVAS XIXTH RENAISSANCE BATTLE BY G VERMOT 1830 A4360 This work depicts three Renaissance period soldiers and a figure supporting a woman who is probably injured. A citadel and vegetation can be seen behind it. The frame is from the 19th century. The work has a nice light and an interesting atmosphere. Everything is natural, unrestored, in an attic state. We report scuffing all over the paintwork, white spots and scratches all visible in the photos. Note friction, wear of gilding and significant gaps on the frame.
