OIL ON CANVAS SERGE DOCEUL DISCOVERY OF ESTUARY CORDEMAIS SURREALISME M156 This work is a large format produced by Serge Doceul probably in 2007, entitled "discovery of an estuary" it is imposing in size. Serge DOCEUL, painter born in Cordemais (Loire Atlantique) on the Loire estuary, between Nantes and Saint-Nazaire, has been attracted from childhood by the landscapes of the marshes, between land and sea, living to the rhythm of the tides, high skies and westerly winds. Later, his artistic work focused on the storms of the nearby coasts, then towards the imaginary worlds of the city of Ys, a Breton city that disappeared in the sea. We find there the lost cities of visionary painters, the cosmic skies of science fiction, paradises of fantasy, or children's dreams, unstable universes that resist time, fragile and indestructible, there is always a glimmer of hope in the paintings of Serge DOCEUL Here are the flaws, deformations on the canvas, holes and small snags visible on the many photos. The work is nevertheless presentable, it is large in size with a technique close to surrealism. For the state thank you for detailing the photos .The photos are an integral part of the description.Dimensions: OIL (sight) Height: 99 cmWidth: 99 cmFrame: Height: 123 cmWidth: 123 cmThickness: 4 cm P745382 I remain at your disposal for any questions.
