OIL ON CANVAS BY LAURE MALCLES STILL LIFE WITH SHELLS 1960 NAIF A4549This oil on canvas was created by Laure Malclès. It's funny, it depicts shells, a boat in the background, a child's picture. She is beautifully crafted with a certain naivety, a pretty tenderness. Laure Malclès, born May 8, 1911 in Paris and died September 21, 1981 in Avignon. She is a painter, lithographer and graphic artist. Laure Malclès-Masereel is part of the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art of the City of Paris and of the city of Brussels, among others. The work is in a good state of conservation with slight friction and micro-scratches, but remains very presentable. This work from the 60s is married by a golden baguette frame, note some scratches and wear of gilding on the frame. For the state thank you for detailing the photos. Feel free to zoom.
