Oil on canvas Judith beheading Holofernes 18th century A4375 This oil on canvas represents Judith having beheaded Holofernes. It is well made, unsigned, it remains well mastered, it is a high quality school. Unfortunately a restoration is to be expected. Note several paint liftings and visible peeling in the photos. We report scratches on the bottom, friction throughout, however the work remains in good general condition. Note friction, wear of the gilding and gaps on the frame which is later, it is from the 19th century but it goes perfectly with this work. We did a basic cleaning.
