OIL ON CANVAS BY ROBERT WOOD SOUS BOIS OCTOBER GOLD M39 This oil on canvas was created by Robert Wood, it is called October Gold.Robert Wood, his full name Robert William Wood, is an American landscape painter. Born in England in 1889, he immigrated to the United States where he became very famous in the 1950s with several million reproductions of his works sold. Wood was a very productive and prolific artist, with more than 5,000 works to his name. active. His works often sold at auctions, sometimes even for over $ 40,000, and were frequently sold to art galleries specializing in American art history. He died in March 1979 in Bishop in California. This open is characteristic of the artist, very impregnated, it is called October Gold.
