Mörk-Ossians (1906-1970) Swedish painter and graphic designer. Carl Arvid Mörk mainly exhibited in a large number of hotels in Norrland, Småland and in the Swedish mountain world with Éric Lundberg, he exhibited in Eksjö in 1949. He specialized in painting motifs from the Swedish mountain world in oil or gouache. The work has its original frame, it represents a landscape of snow-capped mountains with a lake in the foreground. As for the condition, note friction and small marks on the paint. It has a particularity, which is that the panel is painted on both sides and signed. On the reverse you will find another work by Mork Ossians which represents a dead tree on a red background, this one has traces of tape and friction and scratches. These are works which probably date from 1940-1950. On the back a paper indicates the name of the artist. The technique is good, we must accept the defects due to age.
