This armchair made around 1925/30 by Horgen Glarus (Switzerland) is very elegant and is the same model as the famous Kohn No. 715, designed by Gustave Siegel, 1899. The construction of the 715 is easily recognizable by its front legs which are the extension of the top of the backrest, in a single piece of wood, is the archetype of a whole series of armchairs and benches at Kohn and Thonet, Mundus from 1900 to 1940 always very popular. Thank you Mr. Siegel who was then 20 years old!! It is here upholstered in an old red skai under brass tips.
