Neoclassical bouillotte lamp in bronze 3 caryatids 19th century M1585Here is an adorable bouillotte lamp from the first part of the 19th century, without a doubt. It is decorated on the bottom with three neoclassical caryatids with black patina. There is a gilded bronze base, three lights and a shade in red sheet metal. This model is out of the ordinary, indeed, it is rare to find it with this type of caryatid. The hard seat and the gilding are beautifully crafted. This lamp was later reassembled with electricity, but it is old and therefore needs to be replaced for safety reasons. Attention, this lamp is not perfect, it has not been restored, so you have to accept the defects due to age. We report verdigris and small traces of rust on the caryatids, wear of gilding in places, deformation of the lampshade (visible in our photos), small deformation of the arrow, lack of paint on the lampshade.
