Smoking chair - napoleon iii. Former smoker's chair called "smoker" in carved oak with the attributes of the smoker. Needlepoint tapestry decorated with flowers. H 87x45x46 cm +/- Smoker's chair, also called smoker, low chair with wide backrest on which one sat astride to smoke a cigar, cigarette or pipe, especially present in the photographic workshops of the second half of the 19th century th century allowing to hold the pose with a cigarette or pipe the time of the photo (long exposure at the time). Excellent condition, barely used with minimal signs of wear.
