NACRE PLATE RELIGIOUS SCENE DECOR OF CHRIST XIXTH M1299Here is a pretty religious plate in mother-of-pearl, it is ornamented all around with an inscription "Jesus" on the bottom. This is Christ carrying his cross in the center. The object is probably from the late 18th, early 19th century. There is a nice marquetry work. For the condition, note scratches from use, wear, friction and cracks around the perimeter of the frame, it seems that a small piece of the cross is missing, small mother-of-pearl losses in places, minimal losses on the small bracket above the frame.
