Signed Ixo, this new version of the Aronde 1300 Elysée is a replica of a restored model. Indeed, the Aronde registered 1512 FW 75 which was exhibited at the 1957 show also displayed advertising at the bottom of the rear fenders, advertising which does not appear on the model that can still be seen today. This ad was for Shell Oils. On the top line: SUPER SHELL ICA and on the bottom line: SHELL X100. With that said, let’s get back to reviewing this Aronde. We find the mold that was used for the green Elysée 1300 and the gray and red Elysée-Matignon (respectively n° 70 and 85 of the Simca collection), but also for the blue DeLuxe (n° 11 of the Classiques collection automotive). So we find lines and volumes that we know well. It differs from other models by the presence of two fog lights placed above the bumper and a radio antenna above the windshield.
