MINERVA MASCOT BY PIERRE DE SOETE 1920 BELGIAN BRONZE SILVER M801 This mascot made by Pierre de Soete is in silvered bronze, it represents Minerva. There is a signature that is difficult to read, a little erased, but that we managed to take a picture of. Pierre de Soete enrolled at the Molenbeek Drawing Academy while learning modeling as an autodidact. He was an apprentice at the Compagnie des Bronzes and met sculptors, notably Julien Dillens, Constantin Meunier and Jef Lambeaux.
