Medal of the French National Aid Day 1915 Solid Silver Paris. An identical medal is exhibited at the Carnavalet History Museum in PARIS. Iconographic description: Obverse: a woman seated on the right, dressed simply, personifying the allegory of France rescuing the Nation, hands food contained in her apron to a mother accompanied by her son, her daughter and her father; at the back troops of soldiers; reverse: a rooster perched on an oak branch, singing; at the back, on the left, a factory and on the right, a field of reeds; below, a smooth cartouche; around the edge, a laurel wreath. Legend - On the circular obverse: "FRENCH DAY - NATIONAL AID"; on the obverse with the exergue: "1915"; on the circular reverse: "PATRIE". Signature - On the circular obverse: "HIPPOLYTE LEFEBVRE".
