Louis XVI Knot Holy Water Font. Antique holy water font composed of a movable gilded bronze pediment, a silver medallion with Christ, an oval glass for water. The pediment is in gilded bronze sculpted with a Louis XVI knot with 2 garlands of flowers attached to the support with 2 rings that make it mobile. The glass is held to the support by a pearl border on which a bird is perched. The support is in white marble, fixed on a brass plate. Very good condition, without defects. 5.5 cm wide, 18 cm in total height and 4 cm thick. The marble is 7 mm thick. Superb holy water font to collect or to offer.
