MARBLE OR ONYX BOX WITH FOLIAGE DECOR SCULPTED IN THE BLOCK 1960 POLYCHROME This box probably dates from the 1950s / 1960s. It is carved marble, finely executed with a pretty polychromy. It is decorated with foliage carved in the block that found in the round on the perimeter and on the facade. We are leaning towards a marble, perhaps an onyx or an alabaster but closer to the essence of marble. Everything has been mounted in plates You have to accept the different friction and wear.
