It is following long research on the materials, that Thierry Vidé developed his perforated metal sculptures, between lightness, simplicity of the forms and power of a material which he purified over time.
From this sculpture, he developed with his two sons Jean-Sébastien and Félicien a range of designer lights to introduce this new way of seeing light through matter.
The Thierry Design workshops have developed a unique process by which the color is applied by hand to all the perforated stainless steel elements. A technical feat given the fineness of the perforations and the quality of the material, which conventional paint would tend to tarnish.
