Lot of 3 issues from the year 1902 (N°4,23,42) PAPAGALLO/LE PERROQUET. Chromo plates lithographed on newsprint. Le Perroquet: Monarchist and progressive review founded in 1873 by the caricaturist Augusto Grossi (1835-1919), which lasted until 1915. Each issue consists of 1 double sheet whose central pages are occupied by a large and striking chromo-lithographed caricature. From 1876, a version in French (identical illustrations, different texts, less political) was born, followed in 1878 by an English version (The Parrot). Each issue is illustrated with a lithographed plate by Augusto Grossi, founder of the newspaper in 1873, printed in color on a double sheet. Sheet size: 420 x 677 mm. The condition of these boards ranges from good (traces of use) to medium, very fresh in color. Most are in good condition. Captions in Italian, French and English.
