A real favorite for this rag doll! She is of English origin and created after the character Looby Loo who appears in the animated film “Andy Pandy*” in the 1950s.
The doll wears green culottes and hat, an orange double-breasted jacket and a blue bow with white polka dots. The arms and legs are striped green and white. Her blonde hair is braided. She is entirely made of fabric, except for her face which is hand-painted in plastic (celluloid?).
60s-70s. Unbranded.
