A countersigned lithograph bearing the number 5/300. We note some rubbing on the lithograph, foxing on the margin and a few on the work, however it remains in decent general condition. Note that the protective glass is missing and some rubbing and stains on the metal frame. We have carried out a basic cleaning. Wifredo Óscar de la Concepción Lam y Castilla, known as Wifredo Lam, was born on December 8, 1902 in Sagua La Grande (Cuba) and died on September 11, 1982 in Boulogne-Billancourt Cuban painter, promoter of a mixed painting combining Western modernism and African symbols and Caribbean thus creating a singular and contemporary language. Close to Picasso, to the surrealists who recognize him as one of their own, he also rubbed shoulders with the Imaginists, Phases, CoBrA.
