LITHOGRAPH TITLED WELCOME 136 OF 400 CHARLES RETHABER SOLDIER AND MARIANNE LUTETIA BOOKSTORE SIGNED IN PENCIL BY THE ILLUSTRATOR H2489 Lithograph Created in 1917 by Rethaber who also produced illustrations for the Gazette du Bon Ton, this stencil is published in small numbers by the publisher Lutetia bookstore. This litho is countersigned by Rethaber, it bears the number 136 out of 400 with an inscription Librairie Lutetia publisher in Paris. It is probably a work linked to the arrival of the English or the Americans. The work is in good general condition, note a few traces, small shock on the frame at the top. There is plenty of irony in this litho, in fact a French woman with a cockade is holding the hand of an English soldier. We are in the middle of the 14-18 war, the decor is floral. The engraving is iconoclastic. Sold as presented. For the condition, please detail the photos. The photos are an integral part of the description.
