She is not Guadeloupean but Breton, originally from southern Finistère, from Pont Aven, a superb little town near Concarneau. The beauty of the place has attracted many painters and it is in this artistic atmosphere that she developed her talent. It is by optimally using pastels that she was able to render the particular tones of the granite landscapes of the south of her native Brittany.
