LITHOGRAPHY CHATEAU D ANGERS BY PAUL MAUDONNET XXEME 84 ON 130 A4093 This lithograph is XXth it was made by Paul Maudonnet, and represents the castle of Angers it is numbered 84 out of 130 and countersigned. Paul Maudonnet was born in Lorient in 1919. In parallel with his career in industry, he is an artist who expresses himself in different fields, such as drawing and painting, literature, ceramics. In 1944, he created figurines adorned with Anjou costumes, the Naulets d'Anjou, from a portrait gallery suggested by Marc Leclerc. The following year he opened an Art ceramics workshop in Angers, where he manufactured and marketed his figurines.His first book won the 1965 Mottart Prize from the French Academy. The artist ended his life in Thoureil, and died in Angers in Maine et Loire on May 18, 2010. We note that the paper is stained a little curled, two folds on the lithograph, the back has been opened. We therefore sell it as is, the defects indicated must be accepted. Sold uncleaned unrestored. For the state thank you for detailing the photos. Do not hesitate to zoom.
