Lithograph by Henri Rivière Le Lavoir à Tréboul Bretagne A5309 This lithograph "Le Lavoir à Tréboul - Le Beau Pays de Bretagne" is signed Henri Rivière and bears a red stamp stamp at the bottom left. It is authentic and old. Note that the lithograph has remained very fresh in color. We point out for the most picky, a 3.5 cm tear in the margin at the bottom right, a trace on the left from top to bottom, small dirt and stains in the margin. On the back, small stains. This lithograph remains in a very good general condition. Most of these small defects will have disappeared once the lithograph is framed. We have taken as many photos of the defects as possible so that you can judge the condition. Sold as presented. Henri Rivière (1864-1951) is a French painter, engraver and illustrator. He began his career with drawing and then with intaglio engraving and specifically etching in 1882. At the same time, he began a career as a director and scenographer, in 1886, of the shadow theater at the Chat Noir cabaret, shows that he improved by creating very innovative color sets. He then devoted himself exclusively to painting and engraving and established himself in the history of etching, printmaking, woodcut, lithography and watercolor (he painted about a thousand watercolors).
