Lithograph by Henri Rivière L'Ile de Bréhat - Le Beau Pays de Bretagne A5306 This lithograph is signed by Henri Rivière and bears a monogram with a red stamp at the bottom right. This lithograph is authentic and old. For the condition, note a 1.2 cm tear at the bottom right, dirt on the right edge at the top and bottom, a slight crease from top to bottom in the left margin, small stains in the margins, a fold on the right edge at the bottom, two dog-eared corners at the top. On the back, dirt and small stains. However, the lithograph has remained very fresh, the general condition has remained quite acceptable. We have taken as many photos of the defects as possible so that you can judge the condition. Sold as presented. Henri Rivière (1864-1951) is a French painter, engraver and illustrator. He began his career with drawing and then with intaglio engraving and specifically etching in 1882. At the same time, he began a career as a director and scenographer, in 1886, of the shadow theater at the Chat Noir cabaret, shows that he improved by creating very innovative color sets. He then devoted himself exclusively to painting and engraving and established himself in the history of etching, printmaking, woodcut, lithography and watercolor (he painted about a thousand watercolors).
