It is authentic and old. For the condition, note two tears at the top 1.5 cm and 1 cm, a 5 cm tear on the left, a 0.6 cm tear at the bottom, a lack in the bottom left corner and another at the top left, a fold in the bottom right corner, small stains and dirt. On the litho, the tear in the left margin goes to the litho over 1 cm, light stains. The colors of this lithograph have remained very fresh and once framed most of the defects will be invisible. We have taken as many photos of the defects as possible so that you can judge the condition. Sold as presented. Henri Rivière (1864-1951) was a French painter, engraver and illustrator. He began his career with drawing and then with intaglio engraving and specifically etching in 1882. At the same time, he began a career as a director and scenographer, in 1886, of the shadow theater at the Chat Noir cabaret, shows that he improved by creating very innovative color sets. He then devoted himself exclusively to painting and engraving and established himself in the history of etching, printmaking, woodcuts, lithography and watercolor (he painted around a thousand watercolors).
