Lithograph by Henri Rivière Paysages Parisiens - L'Institut et la Cité A5317 This lithograph entitled "Paysages Parisiens - L'Institut et la Cité" is signed by Henri Rivière and bears a red stamp stamp at the bottom right. It is authentic and old. Note defects in the margin: small dirt, ink lines and a small stain at the top left, a fold on the bottom right corner, fold and tear at the bottom 0.4 cm to the right 0.3 cm. We note on the lithograph, a lighter line on the right and small stains. On the back, a slight fold that is barely visible and a slight yellowing. However, this lithograph has remained presentable and very fresh in color. Once framed, most of the defects will be invisible. We have taken as many photos of the defects as possible so that you can judge the condition. Sold as presented. Henri Rivière (1864-1951) was a French painter, engraver and illustrator. He began his career with drawing and then with intaglio engraving and specifically etching in 1882. At the same time, he began a career as a director and scenographer, in 1886, of the shadow theater at the Chat Noir cabaret, shows that he improved by creating very innovative color sets. He then devoted himself exclusively to painting and engraving and established himself in the history of etching, printmaking, woodcuts, lithography and watercolor (he painted about a thousand watercolors).
