It is authentic and old. For the condition, note in the margin, a 5.8 cm tear at the bottom right, four small ink marks, small stains and yellowing, two small tears of 1 cm and 0.4 cm at the top. On the lithograph, note small stains. The colors have remained very fresh, the lithograph once framed, most of the defects will be invisible. We have taken as many photos of the defects as possible so that you can judge the condition. Sold as presented. Henri Rivière (1864-1951) is a French painter, engraver and illustrator. He began his career with drawing and then with intaglio engraving and specifically etching in 1882. At the same time, he began a career as a director and scenographer, in 1886, of the shadow theater at the Chat Noir cabaret, shows that he improved by creating very innovative color sets. He then devoted himself exclusively to painting and engraving and established himself in the history of etching, printmaking, woodcut, lithography and watercolor (he painted about a thousand watercolors).
