Settled in Paris in 1952, he stubbornly explored a very personal pictorial path, from expressionism to neo-cubism, tachism, and geometric abstraction. Solitary and uncompromising, this great detractor of the fashions of his time multiplied exhibitions, but also sensational outings and enmities. He died on October 1, 1984 in Péry, in the Swiss Jura. Since that date, none of his works have been shown to the public, neither in Switzerland nor in France[1].
