Chair / armchair KOHN N°143, labeled and stamped in Teschen early 20th century. This armchair is referenced at THONET before 1890 under N°47 (see catalog). KOHN fundamentally takes it over and becomes the real designer with its N°143 from 1902 with a higher back and less massive proportions, a very modern lamé pattern for the time. It is then taken over by Fischel and Thonet until 1930 (see catalogs) The foot support ring is oval!
