Ironwood candlesticks with hand-carved carp decor marking Japan or China C2217 These two sculptures are made of ironwood. The eyes are in sulphide, orange patina. Everything was made by hand, around 1900. They are probably candlesticks or incense holders, we can see a hole, perhaps to place a skewer. There is a small marking above to identify.
