Metal window with opening upper part, late 19th century.
It comes from a building from 1880.
The upper part opens inwards guided by two "compasses" on the sides which also serve as a stop, the exterior has a water discharge in the lower part.
A system of weights, pulley, attached to the central hook allowed the opening and closing of the opening part.
Solid, authentic!
One glass is missing, and another is broken, we have decided not to replace them if you wish to install different glasses, translucent for example or mirrors.
The glasses present are old, marks, scratches, recent putty in places.
Seen from the inside, the frame measures 137.5cm at the highest, approximately 130cm on the sides, the opening part itself measures 78.5cm wide and 64.5cm at the highest.
The rectangular glasses measure 25cm by 31cm.
The frame measures at its narrowest 10mm thick and the rebate at the level of the glasses approximately 14mm.
The whole thing weighs 32kg.
