19th century Choisy le Roi dish: Sailboat. Superb and rare old round and hollow dish, decorated with a sailboat at sea. The rim is decorated with white Louis XV scrolls, in tone-on-tone relief. Underneath, no signature under it, I show the signature present under other dishes from the same service: Faïence d'Art H. Boulenger et Cie.Choisy le Roi. Good condition. This dish has been used little, hence its impeccable whiteness. It was on the wall of a beautiful property on the Ile de Ré with other different models. Diameter: 31 cm, Height: 5.5 cm.
