Iconic silver-plated bronze letter opener / letter opener, handle with equestrian decoration of a horse's head. Beautifully chiseled work made by the illustrious Maison d'orfèvrerie Ravinet d'Enfert.
Signature on the back "Hermès", hallmark of the master goldsmith Ravinet d'Enfert.
Circa 1960.
Excellent condition, note micro scratches from use, extremely difficult to photograph. The original silver plating is still very present.
A real desk jewel of superb quality.
