GOUACHE STENCIL BY LEON HAFFNER BOAT IN THE STORM 20TH A4825This stencil gouache is made by Léon Haffner, it is from the 20th century, beautifully crafted. It has the signature of Léon Haffner with its navy anchor. It was probably made in the 70s or 80s. The frame is later. Léon Haffner (1881-1972) appointed official painter of the navy in 1918. This painter has a fairly considerable work, indeed he produced oils, but especially gouaches, drawings, many stencils, illustrations of countless books.
